Wyatt Bean ended up winning the boys side, setting his season low 74. Braxten Claburn and Hector Hernandez both broke individual milestones, breaking 90 and 100 respectively! Logan Heathcott was able to step in and turn in a 107 for his first spring tournament, shaving almost 20 strokes from the fall.
The girls team, made up of Madolyn Childress, Sadie Childress, Mia Webb, Raylee Belcher, and alternate Amelia Youngblood won the girls side of the tournament with an overall score of 382. And Madolyn tied for 2nd overall with a 2nd 9 comeback, scoring a 85!
Things on both sides are looking really positive before heading into district at the end of the month, and all the players are well on their way to meeting and exceeding the goals we set before fall golf started.
