It came down to the wire on Tuesday, as Ozona Varsity Lions grabbed the victory in walk-off fashion, 11-10, over Reagan County Varsity Owls. Ozona Varsity Lions were down 10-9 in the bottom of the eighth inning when Bryan Serrano singled, scoring two runs.

Both offenses were strong at the plate as Ozona Varsity Lions collected 12 hits and Reagan County Varsity Owls 14 in the high-scoring affair.

Reagan County Varsity Owls opened the scoring in the first after Jj Jimenez scored after tagging up.

Ozona Varsity Lions flipped the game on its head in the bottom of the first, scoring five runs on three hits to take the lead, 5-1. The biggest blow in the inning was a fielder's choice by Jace Dominguez that drove in two.

Reagan County Varsity Owls jumped into the lead in the top of the third when Edgar Jaime tripled, scoring one run, Kaiden Galindo hit a sacrifice fly, scoring one run, and Jimenez doubled, scoring two runs.

Dominguez lined out, which helped Ozona Varsity Lions tie the game at seven in the bottom of the fifth.

In the top of the eighth inning, Reagan County Varsity Owls went back into the lead after Jimenez singled down the left field line, Charlie Botello scored after tagging up, and Ezgar Vasquez singled down the right field line, each scoring one run.

Ozona Varsity Lions captured the lead, 11-10, in the bottom of the eighth when Evan Martinez scored after tagging up, JP Garza singled, scoring one run, and Serrano singled, scoring two runs.

Christian Villarreal earned the win for Ozona Varsity Lions. The reliever gave up five hits and four runs (zero earned) over five and one-third innings, striking out six and walking one. Galindo took the loss for Reagan County Varsity Owls. The reliever went three innings, allowing four runs on six hits, striking out four and walking one. Garza opened the game for Ozona Varsity Lions. The starting pitcher surrendered nine hits and six runs over two and two-thirds innings, striking out one and walking two. Jimenez led things off on the bump for Reagan County Varsity Owls. The starter allowed six hits and seven runs (five earned) over four and one-third innings, striking out three and walking eight.

Ozona Varsity Lions accumulated 12 hits in the game. Andon Glosson and Jacoby Ramos were a force together in the lineup, as they each collected three hits for Ozona Varsity Lions. Serrano drove the middle of the lineup, leading Ozona Varsity Lions with three runs batted in. The infielder went 2-for-5 on the day. Villarreal paced Ozona Varsity Lions with three walks. Overall, the team had patience at the plate, accumulating nine walks for the game. Villarreal stole four bases. Ozona Varsity Lions ran wild on the base paths, tallying seven stolen bases for the game.

Reagan County Varsity Owls tallied 14 hits in the game. Jimenez set the tone at the top of the lineup, leading Reagan County Varsity Owls with three hits in five at bats. Vasquez, Marcus Vargas, Jadian Perez, and Botello each collected multiple hits for Reagan County Varsity Owls. Vasquez stole two bases. Reagan County Varsity Owls ran wild on the base paths, tallying four stolen bases for the game. Reagan County Varsity Owls turned one double play in the game.
